The goal of TripWire Solutions is to build ‘Business Intelligence’ platforms. To this end, TripWire Solutions has experts in all the different aspects of ‘Business Intelligence’ and provides the following services:

Implementation and Development

  • Data Warehouse Architecture: Definition of the general Data Warehouse architecture, standards and creation of metadata based on business needs and technological insights.
  • ETL development: ETL stands for ‘Extraction, Transformation and Loading’ processes and includes loading data from the database(s) – the source – cleaning up and processing old data into new data and loading the new data into the new database – the goal.
  • OLAP: Creation of OLAP environments. OLAP is short for On-Line Analytical Processing. The accent here is on the words On-Line and Analytical. OLAP is a technology database that has been specially designed for highly complex ad hoc (on-line) analyses.
  • Reporting: The installation of reporting and query tools that make it possible to create standard reports or ad hoc queries.  This includes building the required reports and dashboards.
  • Forecasting: Forecasting can be used to avoid future costs or to anticipate potential income.  We offer forecasting solutions that enable you to use the right forecasting algorithm for your environment.
  • Data mining: Data Mining is the automated search for patterns relating to data sets by using different algorithms. What is important here is that not only do we have consultants who can carry out these analyses but we also provide the support for the architecture you use for your analytical environment.

Orientation and project planning:

  • Data warehousing scoping study: TripWire Solutions provides customised scoping studies the aim of which is to create a common insight into the scope of the ‘Business Intelligence’ project(s). We also offer a fixed price proposal with a plan of approach.  When several projects are involved, we prepare a roadmap.
  • Project management and implementation methodology: TripWire Solutions works with project managers who have experience in ‘Business Intelligence’ projects; they are Prince2 certificated and have knowledge of our implementation methodology which is based on DSDM
  • Data Warehouse Health check: TripWire Solutions provides assessments of existing data warehouse environments with a view to improving performance.
